I love the holidays but they make for a busy time, so I am a little glad they are over. Now it's time to get back in the routine. I have been remiss in my bloggin' duties. I won three different contests and received a blog award and never mentioned anything about any of 'em. I thought I would wait until I received my winnin's so I could show you, but one of my prizes is a photo of my choice and I can't choose. Too many good ones to pick from. So I am goin' to tell you what I won.
First at Bayou Woman's blog I won a photo of choice. If you have never been to her blog, go check it out and you will see why I am havin' such a hard time. She lives a life that I envy. She lives on the bayou and she gets to fish every day if she wants. AND she has a tree house! Actually since her home has been ravished twice by hurricane's she is havin' the house raised. I hope I can make a decision soon and be able to show you my winning photo. Bayou Woman if you read this please don't think I have forgotten. I still want my picture!
The next contest was actually a drawin'. Over at a give away a day, Liz was featurin' a bird pebble from Letterfest.
I am a lover of rocks so this really appealed to me. The cute little bird is engraved into the rock. You can use it as a paperweight or like me, just lay it on a coffee table. I can't imagine the time that Liz must put into her blog keepin' up with a give away a day. Go check it out, she has some great prizes. Thank you Liz for pickin' me!
My next prize hasn't arrived yet. It is coming from Peggy's blog over at hidden haven homestead. She makes her own soap! And lucky me won the drawin', so I will be gettin' a bar of her new spring fragrance. I can't even imagine makin' your own soap. You need to check out her blog and her extended family. Go. Give yourself a treat.
Well as you can see I have been very lucky. I feel very fortunate to be the recipient of these fine gifts.
Some thing else I have been very fortunate to receive is a blog award. Maybe you have noticed it in my sidebar. It is a Butterfly Award and it was bestowed upon me by Muse from a divas hammer. She has a wonderful gift of rhyme and her blog is a work of art. Very talented lady and I am greatly honored that she would even consider me for this award.
