GOT CAUGHT!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything new. I thought we were goin' to avoid the flu bug this year but, alas, it caught my hubby.

Now I don't know about your husband's, but when mine gets sick he acts like he's dyin'. I take good lovin' care of him, I drop everything and am at his beck and call, but I have to admit, he's a big baby!

I've always said that when, if anyone in the family is gonna get sick, I'd rather it be me or if it's gotta be someone else, the kids. Not the hubby. He moans and groans and acts like nobody is ever as sick as he is. It's kinda funny comin' from such a big man guy. He's always the tough one and he rarely whines about anythin'. I usually have to get on to him about lettin' a cut or scrape go without doctorin' it. But let him actually get down sick......

So, I guess, since he rarely carries on about anythin', he's entitled.
I guess.

I just got 'round to reading your other post on the Crescent today - don't know how I managed to miss that. Sorry to hear hubs in down with the flu. I heard that it's going around and sure hope it stays away from here! My hub is exactly the same when he gets sick. Now, let ME get sick and he has zero nurture bone in his body!!! It's like he has no idea what to do!

Isn't that funny! Well, it makes me feel better to know mine isn't the only 'baby' out there. LOL
And Mary, mine is the same way, acts like he doesn't know what to do for me when I'm sick. Hahaha, men!

Hi HillbillyWoman. I found you through the Chronicles giveaway. I'm wondering where in the Ozarks you are? I am a Missouri born and raised and raised my kids and now grandkids kinda girl. Your blog intrigues me.

Hope your hubby gets better real soon. I can totally relate to the trials of sick hubbys.

Awwwwwwwww...I hope he feels better soon. I bet he and other men like him act that way because they like the extra attention!!!

And to answer your question...no, I haven't figured out a way to get Leah's voice on a post. I think I'd put her voice on there a lot if I knew how!! I did see a website that you could use a phoneline and talk into it to record, but I don't think she'd go for that! I'll keep working on it!

Hi again Reb. The first time I came here blog was acting up and I couldn't see your posts other than the current one. I've been doing a bit of reading.
Awesome blog and I was looking at pictures and thinking oh yea I've seen that... I see Lebanon and I think school shopping. We'd go to the outlet store there every year to buy the kids their school clothes and back packs. I will definitely be checking your blog out on a regular basis.

Oh so sorry to hear your darlin' is ill...I know what you mean about them moaning & groaning when they're sick...I guess that's why God made us to have babies! It would have KILLED them for sure...
LOL ...;-) Bo
